Takaishi Industry Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture) is pleased to announce that construction of the second factory at the Tottori Factory (Koyama-cho, Tottori City) has been completed in August 2024. After a preparation, the new factory is scheduled to start operation in January 2025.

Takaishi Industry manufactures, prototypes, and researches and develops industrial rubber sealing parts such as O-rings and packings. Takaishi has a long history in a wide range of fields such as water, gas, and air, and has recently succeeded in commercializing rubber O-rings for hydrogen stations.

Since we have received a strong number of orders, mainly for rubber products for residential equipment, we have been considering increasing production capacity at our main production factory, the Tottori Factory (completed in 1962), in anticipation of future production capacity increases, and in light of the trend of returning to manufacturing in Japan from 2021. Starting in 2023, we will launch a project team of volunteers from within the company, and will begin construction of a second factory in January 2024, with the factory building now being completed. This will ensure further growth in the future and establish a stable production system in the medium to long term.
