Our Vietnam factory has been closed from 9th July, but the closing period has been extended further.

Due to the surge in the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Thuan Industrial Park, where our factory is located, has been closed and will be extended.

The closure has been over a month and has so far been extended until 15th August.

Vietnam has been a “honor student” in the past, controlling the number of infected people, but recently, there are about 8,000 infected people a day throughout the country. Of these, Ho Chi Minh accounts for about half, about 4,000.

To prevent further spread of the infection, the Vietnam government is implementing strong lockdown measures.

I hear that some of the factories in the industrial park continue to operate from the viewpoint of supply responsibility.

Our Vietnam factory is closed due to the construction of equipment expansion.
