The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by the United Nations in September 2015, are common goals set by 193 UN member states, to achieve from 2016 to 2030.

[Affordable and clean energy]

Since 2015, Takaishi Industry has installed solar panels at its head office and three domestic factories.

There are three main reasons for installing solar panels.

(1) Implemented as one of the efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by EA21 (Eco Action 21: Environmental Management System).

(2) When it was installed in 2015, it was a calculation that could pay for itself thanks to the feed-in tariff system (FIT system).

(3) By installing it on the roof or rooftop, it is possible to suppress the temperature rise in the room in the summer. The roof of the office is also coated with heat shield to create a synergistic effect.

Thanks to solar power generation, employee's awareness is also increasing.

We will continue to contribute to the generation of clean renewable energy.

While continuing to work on the SDGs, we will utilize the knowledge and technology we have cultivated in the rubber seal business for more than 70 years, and promote efforts that contribute to solving social issues together with stakeholders through our domestic and overseas businesses.
